my 360 broke last week. i got the coffin for it today and will be in the mail tomorrow.

my tv has been giving me shit and a tech came out to fix it. he got rid of one problem and left me with a new one. he has to come out again to attempt to fix it again saturday.

the tv thing is out of control. it's been 5 months since i first called to get it repaired. i've had to reschedule and the guy got the part and it was broken, he had to reorder it. he works saturdays every other month, so i had to wait an extra month. all the stuff went down with my dad, so i had to reschedule again.

so finally the guy changes the part (which had been recalled by sony for causing the problem i was having) and it got rid of the discoloration i was having, but it left me a fuzzy picture. which is just as bad. so he had to order the part again, and is coming out saturday to change it again. hopefully this does it.

oh yeah - gimchi - late night - out of control.

sweet jesus. i've been forgetting things as of late. little things. like closing the gas lid on my car one day. then forgetting to put the gas cap on and close the lid 2 days later. i managed to notice it only because i checked the mirror before i took off. damn thing costs 40 bucks, i lost it once a long time ago cause i got mad at a shell station. i forgot to lock my car today. left my ipod in the front seat and everything. had to think hard about my address today too. i'm sure i'd forget to tie my shoes if they were not slip ons.

either my brain's fried or i'm getting long in the tooth. oh well, so long as i don't forget to do something and fall in a pit i should be ok.

i couldn't go to sleep until about 1:30am. so as of now i'm about 3 hours of sleep over 38 hours. time for bed.

just got back from a mexican joint next door. had me some negra modelo and some shots of tequila. they were playing ozomatli in the background.

just thought it was funny that i'm spanish in japan coming from the U.S. in a mexican restaurant drinking mexican beer and tequila, listeining to a spanish group from L.A.

yesterday we went out to kyoto and stayed at a ryokan. (tradition japanese hotel) it was so cool. slept on futons, small traditional rooms, crazy ass fancy meals, wooden tubs, tiny stools, tea ceremonies, saw some temples, gieshas, hostess clubs, drank lots of sake, played card games til late, and took lots of photos.

today we are in osaka, checking out the area in further detail. may do some night life tonight or tomorrow. my roomie says it's better than tokyo.

so far the trip has been better than i expected. this place is amazing. even doing landry has been an experience. finding places can be hard considering that i can't read or speak the languages.

one of the guys on the trip has rigged up a wireless network in the hotel for us to use, so now each room has free internets. sweet! doing some research to find tokyo tower this morning. i get up so early and have nothing to do. the other day i hopped a a train and just went. i'm gonna do that in a bit but would like a bit more direction. problem is, is that nothing is open except places to eat. no stores or shops until around 10.

other plans for today! going to a music shop (instruments and such) we got a guitar player and a drummer in our group. going to a real japanese tuner parts store. you know i have to get my fast and the furious on out here. this is where it got big first. and checking out a baseball game tonight. giants v. tigers.

oh yeah. went to shaa boo yaa! yesterday. it was a rainy mess out there though. so many people, so well dressed, super trendy, but not in a snotty i'm too fucking cool way. it's weird. also went to the gihbli museum. saw a bunch of miyazaki's work, and saw an exclusive animated short that wont be released anywhere.

casey- i've been trying to get pictures of crazy fruits people, but it's frowned upon to take pics of people here. i missed a chance out in akihabara cause my battery was dead, but i will be going out there in the weekend. out there they parade around and want to have there pictures taken.

JAPAN IS FRIKIN AWESOME!!! the only way i can describe it would be like living in a combination of the u.s. and el salvador. something about the feeling of the place. the smells the sites. all the modern stuff next to ancient stuff all over the place.

so far i went to akihabara- geek heaven. nakano- one gaint shopping arcade with anything you can think of. sawai- to the sawanoi sake brewery, the most surprising and unexpected place so far. incredible is all i have to say. drank so much sake too. then we went to tachikawa- ate horse sashimi and went to what would be a best buy, but 7 stories tall with one floor for just games, one for cell phones, and one for computers. and so much other shit.

i'll load pictures after the trip. o yeah. it's 9:30 am wednesday here. making it about 7pm tuesday over there.
